Did you asked yourself why the Apple, Google, Amazon are launching their payment systems? It is simply because your purchase and selling history is a golden mine. Thanks to their powerful algorithms, they are already able to exploit your behavior as a consumer and transform it into pure benefits thanks to their exclusive predictive modelizations.

This treasure is already available at your Banks but until today they are not really exploiting it. Why? because they are not authorized today to produce an aggregated view on their customers different accounts. It will change soon with a new European regulation (PSD2). This is a unique opportunity for them to capitalize on the trust of their customers in order to strike back against the GAFA.

The paradox is that this new regulation will also force them to share their data with other players in order to increase the competition. So as you see it clearly, the acquisition of raw data will loose its interest while the capabilities to analyze them will be very valuable in a near future.
